The conventional theory of business meetings holds that productive conversations about enterprise automation require a conference room, several stakeholders with conflicting incentives, and at least one consultant billing by the hour to facilitate the conflict. This theory is, at minimum, incomplete.

In Terms of Real Information
With all due respect to Slack threads and official corporate correspondence — the real information has always traveled differently. Best practices that actually work, war stories about integrations that didn’t, vendor reputations built or destroyed over twelve months of painful go-lives — none of this ends up in pre-sales presentations.
So: come over. Complain about whatever needs complaining about. Sometimes the conversation ends with a proper roadmap. Sometimes it ends with “you don’t actually need an integration, there’s a query that does the same thing in forty seconds.” Sometimes nothing gets solved but you meet someone interesting — which, in the long run, tends to be worth more than most integrations anyway.
