Distribution Partnership with Universal.com

There is a reliable way to tell a mentor from an influencer: the mentor follows their own advice.

Last month we wrote about affiliate programs as a sales channel — specifically, about the peculiar reluctance of most businesses to use a tool that costs nothing until it works. The logical follow-up question is whether we use one ourselves.

We do now.

Rare Digits has signed a distribution agreement with Universal.com, who will represent our products across the MENA region. Universal.com will introduce Rare Digits solutions to enterprise clients as part of their existing software portfolio, handling the initial sales conversations in markets we would otherwise approach from scratch.

The commercial logic is the same one we described before: you reach customers through people who already have the relationship. You pay when it works. The margin you share is smaller than the cost of building the channel yourself.

If the advice is worth publishing, it should be worth following.
